I'm interested to know what those 19 to 29 aged folks are doing while they're here. (The more you know, the easier it is to market towards them, the more they use the library.)
ReplyDeleteMy thinking (and here's the Marketing Nerd talking) that these people are either done with school altogether, just starting post-secondary (and are therefore here studying,) or have finished, but don't have jobs in their chosen field yet. They may or may not be living with their parents still, or they may be living on their own for the first time and are looking for cost effective ways to stay entertained. It's a different kind of "World of First" for them. (The initial "World of Firsts" being teenage adolescents.) First car, first home, first long-term relationship, first child, first time coming to terms with financial debt, etc.
There are many things the library has to offer them, but what are they looking for, in particular, and what do they think we can do for them?
Dang, these posts make me think! Kudos Heather and Katelyn!
